I also haven't used ANY type of weed killer or herbicide before, so if you're a first time user, you might want to read this and consider this. It's probably exactly what you're looking for. It comes with a battery operated dispenser that you just aim and it squirts the stuff out as you walk along the area you want to do, so there's no pumping or mixing or anything. You never even come in contact with the liquid unless you spray it on yourself. I thought it wasn't working at first because it was so hot outside that day that it was evaporating as soon as I sprayed it on, but it still killed every single piece of grass it came in contact with within 24 hours -- very fast. It's not as effective against big weeds, but it'll still pretty much kill them too. It's also almost surgical in how it kills -- you could make designs in your lawn because of how it only kills what it touches and doesn't really spread at all. I have an average sized property and one container did it all. If you have more weeds then grass you might need two of these because mine was all mostly grass. You really don't need much and overusing it just wastes it -- it's stronger than you think, especially with grass. It turns the grass from green to brown overnight. I did it at like 2pm and when I woke up the next day everything was dead. There's no smell that I've noticed, but I also don't have a strong sense of smell. If you're not sensitive to smells or something, you'll be fine. I just wanted something so I didn't need to keep weed whacking because I've known people who got eye injuries from it, plus I have like a tennis court worth of area (just to give you an area of how much you need, it's just like it says). Just plug the cord into the container from the dispensing "gun", pull the battery tab from the dispensing gun, turn the thing, and you're good to go. Just coat the leaves and grass until it looks wet and maybe spray towards the roots a little. That's it. It's REALLY easy to use, and almost fun to use. And directions are always on the back in case you forget any of this. It's a solid product. I'm actually amazed how easy this was. The next day after application all my weeds we’re brown ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by T***2 on 22 August 2025* Fairly fast acting and limited toxicity to allow planting next day seemed to be a plus as I have weeds near real plants. I used the stream setting, not spray, to minimize any of the liquid hitting desired plantlife. Spraying mid-day (85f, dewpoint 62) and then another spray the next day because nothing looked any different, I have since day 2 seen a lot of yellowing - but with some taller grass and weeds still remaining green, so it takes more than 3 hours to see a reaction, especially for larger growths where more than one spritz will do it. "Douse the fritters, twice if not thrice" is all I can say. Hoping the third time works, will look up and write down the stubborn species, many of which were broad-leafed if not grass-like. Many yellowed grass tufts the size of a fist were easily pulled out from the driveway when I went out the next day. Before they wouldn't budge. Evaporation on a hot day aside as that probably reduces efficacy, it is also rain-proof after 15 minutes. That's important for preventing run-off. Will do another round this weekend on what's left (appx 50% of weeds). This product does work, but the trade-offs for convenience might be a weaker poison. That's okay, I don't want my good plants nearby harmed because of runoff and using alternatives I'd read about are far more caustic and indiscriminate. Update (next day entry): more weeds and grass turned yellow. A couple weeds did still look healthy green but I might have missed spritzing those.
