Good Value and Long Life
I bought this as a replacement battery for a Renewed Dell Latitude 5400 14 in. 8th Gen Core i7-8665U 16GB RAM 512GB PCIe SSD. The laptop works perfect but the battery was weak at about 60% capacity and only holding enough charge to use the laptop for about an hour. I replaced it with this battery and depending on what I am doing will last well over four hours. The included tools were helpful to remove and replace the battery. The battery was a snug fit, but did fit into the battery compartment. The included instructions were okay with fractured English. If this battery continues to perform like it does now I would buy it again. It is good value for the money. YouTube installation videos were very helpful.

Great replacement
This battery works great with my Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Series. It fit perfectly, was easy to install, and has been performing well so far. Great replacement battery at a good value!

great buy...and more powerful battery than the OEM one had...
my factory chromebook battery had degraded after a number of years....this replacement is working very well and seems to have even more battery power/life than the original did...it is bigger than the original, but it did fit in my chrome book just fine (with the spare room left over from the OEM battery)...install took less than 5 minutes...great buy for my Latitude 5400

A good replacement for OEM
At first, I am hesitant to buy this. I have an old and dying Dell laptop, so I have decided to grab a new battery if it will help. I don't want to spend so much money, so this fits the picture. The battery has been running my laptop consistently and it holds the power well. This is a good bang for your money; the battery quality is great and almost like the original battery when it is new.

Tips to remove difficult battery screws
So far the battery is working fine but I want to share with you a challenge I faced if you run into this situation The Seller provided two different screwdrivers that have always worked for me to remove the screws in the battery. One is like a phillips head the other is more like a Torx type screw head. However, by laptop had a screw head I have never seen before and I have replaced batteries in 3 different laptops this last year. If you determine you cannot remove the screws without stripping the heads here is a tip I used. First, use a rubberband as wide as screw head. You use either one of the screwdriver tools (I used phillips) they sent and push hard on the rubberband and the friction or grab of rubberband can lossen the screw head. The additional step was using a small folded up square piece of alumnium foil that will accomplish same thing to lossen the screw but rubberband option worked the best. It took me a some time to get this replacement done. If you do strip out the screw head and these tips don't work you can order an extractor tool. There is no way for Seller to know what screws they put in these laptops, but they try to give you a couple of options to remove the battery screws.

It fits and it works. Harrowing to install, though, on a Dell 7577.
My Dell Inspiron 7577's OEM battery life had dwindled to something like 15 minutes after 3 years. Dell's price is well over $100 and I'm relatively handy with computers so I didn't have a problem buying an aftermarket part, especially as other ratings on this particular item were pretty good. I downloaded the repair manual for my laptop, and as soon as this battery got here, went to replace it. Taking the back off a 7577 is easy. Removing the screws that hold the battery in place is easy. Removing the CONNECTOR from the old battery (to be able to connect it to the new one) is nerve-wracking - seriously, those are the thinnest, most FRAGILE wires and connectors I've seen. If you do this, DO NOT PULL ON EITHER CONNECTOR (the end that fits on the computer as well as the one that fits on the battery). I used the point of a HAND SEWING NEEDLE to gently pry both ends of the battery cable free - very slowly, a nudge on one side and then again on the other, until it was far enough off the pins to be able to lift it off the rest of the way (GENTLY!!). Putting it back on the new battery was the reverse - fitting it gently onto the pins and then pushing one side, then the other with the eye of the needle. I had to take off BOTH ends of the cable - the computer connector and the battery because the wires are SO thin, I did not want to flip the cable over (the connector is on the side facing down, of course, so you have to flip it if you don't remove the computer end first). I was seriously afraid I'd snap the wires if I did flip it over. Once both connectors were in place, screws back in and the laptop's back put back on, the system booted without incident. The battery did not have a full charge, and once I charged it I ran the laptop till shutdown three or four times, to condition it. It currently holds a charge a little over 2 hours (not much different from the original OEM battery), which I'm pleased with. By the way, the screwdrivers this ships with? Don't need 'em for this purpose (a small Phillips head is fine), and they're pretty cheap/chintzy anyway. The battery seems to do what it's supposed to, and I'm happy with that. Vendor shipped it quickly and followed up with a warranty email.

Iโm confused.
I donโt even know what to say. I got the battery and connected it. Didnโt take me long and it was simple. My problem now is that (I had also purchased a new charger) when I tried to turn on the battery it said itโs dead. I plugged it in and turned it on because I needed to know the battery percentage to do the calibration. Charged it to 100% as the instructions said it needed to be first fully charged. Once it was charged and was drained to 20%, it would not charge (it showed charging and there was lights on the cable but it stayed at the same percentage. I had to reset the SME to get the battery to recognise the charge and vice versa. It started to charge. Then I did the second drain I left it at 20% and had to go on the road so I didnโt plug it in. I just got home and the battery is dead. I had to again reset the SME so the battery can recognise the charger. I had tried the charger on the previous battery before I got this one and I didnโt have a problem. I must say with the new battery the charge is longer, the battery stays charged longer and the MacBook is moving faster as well which I love. But why do I keep having to reset the SME just for my charger to be recognised.

Simple to install
The battery arrived on time and was simple to install. I've had this battery installed on the laptop for 3 months now and has worked flawlessly and got me through a couple of power outages. I would recommend this battery when a replacement is needed.
