I bought the switch months ago, to retrofit a dust collector's bad switch. The dust collector is plugged into a remote on/off unit, so I rarely use the unit's switch, until two days ago. I had to relocate the dust collector and just plugged into a wall socket. The on side had a definite click to it, however to off side was spongy and, in fact, I had to push it several times to make sure the unit was off. To answer your question, I cannot tell exactly how much pressure was required, but it definitely did not seem normal. **Q: Delta 36-725t2. anyone have a suggestion on how to mount this switch to a delta 36-725t2 table saw (as the original switch is built into the “box”)?** A: Mount one electric switch box to the saw and then put the new switch in the electric box. **Q: Is this a single or double pole switch?** A: If it is rated for 220 volts it must be double pole - must switch both lines. Other than that installation was straight forward and routine.
