I bought this umbrella for my wife and she loves it . It does not open automatically

I see 4 dimensions in the description, i understand canopy size is 51 inches and folded length is 37 inches. but what is 4" high, 10.75" wide?

Hi there! Canopy size is 51 inches. The fold length is 37 inches, width of the umbrella laying on side (ferruled) including the handle is approx.. 5 ½”, the height of the umbrella laying on side is approx. 2 1/5”. The 10.75” is a case measurement, and should probably be removed as it is confusing. Thanks!

Does this bubble umbrella fold up to put in your backpack?

The umbrella does not fold down to backpack size, it stays log.
