I was honestly surprised by how much I like this vacuum. The Eureka Lightweight Powerful Upright Vacuum Cleaner (PowerSpeed, New Model) really lives up to its name — “lightweight” and “powerful” are spot-on. I have a medium-sized dog who sheds a lot, and my old vacuum used to struggle with the fur, especially on carpet. This Eureka model glides easily across both my carpet and hard floors, picking up stray hair and crumbs without me having to go over the same spot a dozen times. One of my favorite parts is how easy it is to maneuver. It’s light enough that I can carry it up and down the stairs without feeling like I’m getting a workout. The suction is strong for its size, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much it pulled from rugs that looked clean already. The dust cup is easy to detach and empty — no mess, no fuss. If I had to nitpick, I’d say it’s a bit noisier than some other models I’ve used, and the cord could be a little longer for bigger rooms. But for the price and performance, those are small trade-offs in my book. Overall, this vacuum is a great choice if you want something budget-friendly that still performs like a champ — especially if you’ve got pets. Love it!!! Works very well definitely recommend for anyone who wants a really great vacuum for half what you'd pay on an expensive model. The accessories/tools work perfectly for my needs. The handle comes out so you can reach high curtains, light fixtures etc. Not bulky & looks nice. I would love a little light on it for under couches or beds. Floor settings are perfect. Picked up my dogs pitbull glitter (lol) dust pickup is superb.

I had a shark before, but it finally bit the dust. We got rid of most of the carpet in our house so I didn't want to spend a ton. I was surprised at how well this cleaned, especially for the price. It got so much up; compatible to my shark. Now, the head is quite a bit bigger so it doesn't fit under furniture or in tight areas as much. The reason I docked Star is because of the hose and the noise. While the hose is usable, it leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't stretch much and falls out easily. It's also quite loud. Overall, though, I'm impressed by this vacuum.

Got this vacuum after 10 years with my last eureka. So happy. It's lightweight, easy to put together, and does a great job. I found it picked up so much hair in my carpets from my cats and dust from around. My house definitely smells better. It's smaller than the previous vacuum but does a great job. Suction is strong in the regular and stick attachments. Durability is great so far but I haven't had much time to beat it up yet lol. Overall very happy with my purchase. Great price for the product.

Perfect little vacuum for less then 100 dollars you can't beat that! Has great suction on carpet and bare floors. I was worried it wouldn't work on my rug because there is no open suction feature but it did a great job!

I read the reviews about the excellent suction. I was skeptical. I have bought and returned so many vacuums that simply did not have enough suction. Years ago there use to be a Eureka Boss that was amazing. And I knew a field expert who said Eureka was always the best for power in vacuums. I have longed felt that, except the past several years Eureka has kept putting out vacuums that were weak in suction, and had fallen back years behind their original progress. Fast forward to now! Wow, just wow! This vacuum is a dynamo. Who redesigned it? Surely someone who vacuums! Here is what is so amazing about this vacuum (and I'm very picky and expect performance) 1. The suction. Yes, it has suction power! Finally my carpet is fluffed up again, just like it used to be. I don't wear my shoes inside the house, so my carpet always looks nice, but now when I vacuum it is extra fluffy and stands up from the nap of the carpet. 2. The design at the front end. The weight is finally at the front part of the vacuum, versus in the handle. This is important for a couple of reasons. For one, it is much easier to vacuum with, has weight without feeling like it has weight. It is called PowerSpeed, and I don't know if that is in reference to only needing one pass, but one thing is for certain is that the wheels and momentum lets me fly up and down the bedroom carpet with ease. So something is working right in this "speed" department. Bravo! 3. The edges are nice and square! I don't know why vacuums started having rounded corners, but these square edges mean when I'm doing the stairs, all parts of the step are cleaned. 4. Doesn't scatter like before. I'm able to suck up the stray litter rocks in the hall without having to chase them down. 5. Noise level is acceptable, slight high pitch but reasonable. 6. I did NOT find it giving up halfway through a task like the person with the long funny review stated. The vacuum performed the same after 2 bedrooms and 2 full set of staircases as it did when I first started vacuuming. I'm so glad Eureka went back to basic! No automatic cord retriever, and that's okay, because clearly we are paying for the vacuum to .... vacuum! Seriously, thank you to whoever was part of this design process. As a vacuum expert, this is 5-stars all the way. PS: There is one little quirk. The handle clicks. There is slight play in it and I'm not sure if it's just mine but I will order a replacement and see if that is a QC issue on all. It's minor, but if you have OCD like I do, the clicking is noticeable. All in all, I'm thrilled with it!

It's not a bad vacuum, but wouldn't give it 5 stars as some have. I had a Hoover Windtunnel for several years, and it has lots of suction. It finally decided to get old and even though it still works good, certain parts, like the canister, have started to crack/break. A new canister, or even a used one, is way too expensive. So I decided a new vacuum might be better. The Eureka is very light weight and easy to maneuver. Suction doesn't compare to the Hoover, but still does a decent job. I've noticed the edges of the unit don't seem to clean all that great, when close to a wall or object. I find the cord somewhat short, but again, was used to a longer one. Appearance is nice and I appreciate the on-board tools, which can be used with just the hose. So many vacuums make the user pull the whole wand/handle out, in order to use a tool. I find that silly, since if you want to use the upholstery tool, I want to hold onto the upholstery tool, not some big handle/wand. This unit does have both options in that catagory. There's no extension tube, like most vacs come with, and hose is on the shorter side as well. So it does tip over if trying to reach too far with the hose. I stopped buying Bissel for that reason, even though they looked nice and had good suction. So if you're looking for a decent vac that won't break the bank, this might work for you. If you like a longer cord, hose, extension and more suction, probably better look elsewhere.

Been a while since I purchased a new Vacuum. I was very excited to get this one, since I have been doing some heavy duty cleaning. I used it as soon as I got it out of the box. It is very lightweight and versatile. The cord is very long so it has a very big cleaning range in that respect, I usually had to unplug to move to the next room now I don't have to. All in all it is a very nice Vacuum with great range.

Es un excelente producto. Lo adquirí en oferta por $1800 y la verdad, por lo que hace vale toda la pena. Si buscas aspirar pisos duros con objetos o cabellos, estas es la aspiradora. Mejoraría si tuviera un cable de corriente retractil, porque si es complicado manejar con el cable cuando los extiendes totalmente. Fuera de eso, cumple con lo que dice.

Okay I’ll be honest, at first I was sceptical because I’d not heard of the brand before and the price point was so good. When it was delivered I definitely got a look from my partner about this random vacuum I bought off Amazon lol. HOWEVER, it took all of 3 minutes to put together and read the instruction papers, we then immediately gave it a go and let me tell you, this did not disappoint. We had a shark vacuum prior to this that crapped out on us after 2 years, I think it really struggled with the fur and dirt produced by our 3 fur babies. So something a little more heavy duty with good suction was a must. My partner and I were SHOCKED at how much dirt and fur this thing yanked out of the shag rug in our living room. I kind of wish I had taken a picture, it was that much. All doubt was gone after the first use, this is the real deal. I like that the height of the head can be adjusted for the type of surface you’re using it on, I think the people saying it’s difficult to push just may be forgetting to adjust it. The suction is obviously fantastic, and it’s very easy to take the container out to dispose of the dirt and clean it out. The one negative about it is the hose length- it needs to be longer! I was leaning down using the crevice tool and the vacuum fell on my head haha. So, needs much more length to actually be practical for use. I’ve used it several times since and can honestly say I’m still totally amazed by how much crap this pulls out of the rugs, I feel like we’ve been living in squalor this whole time and didn’t even know it, deceived by our old vacuum. Get this!

Powerful, affordable vacuum! Immediately after vacuuming our carpet with our old vacuum we tried the Eureka - amazing results as the Eureka picked up a lot more dirt! Highly recommended! One suggested improvement would be to add a light to this vacuum, otherwise a perfect product.
