It doesn't really prevent the crack to run any further, right?** A: Incorrect. It actually does help prevent the spreading of the cracks (depending on the size of the damage). If the damage is contained within the circular area of the applicator tool, you should be good to go. But if the damage extends beyond the boundry of the applicator, extra steps or applications could be needed. This resin works especially well to prevent further spidering due to extreme temperature changes. **Q: Can this product be used on a house window?** A: As an addendum to my answer, I want to add the fact that windshield repair resins come in various viscosities. The #25 resin is a good, all around viscosity, but the higher the #, the less visible the crack will be after the repair, but the more difficult it will be to introduce the resin into the crack. As a rule of thumb, the thicker densities should only be used on hot days when their viscosity is reduced. What I would do is first try using a higher viscosity resin for a crack, like 50 for example. I would continue using it as long as it flowed evenly into the crack, but when I reached a point where the crack was so narrow that 50 stopped filling the crack entirely, I would switch over to 25, and sometimes even thinner on cold days.
