The tools were bought to make jewelry, but they can be used for many small things. They are comfortable in the hand, come with 5 different types of pliers, they are not stiff and move smoothly and they are durable. They are spring open. That’s can be a positive or a negative. When holding something, you can accidentally ease your grip and drop your piece. They are easy to open because of the spring.

UPDATE: customer service reached out to me after my initial review to apologize for the faulty items and made a note to QC. Can’t ask for better customer service. Guess I will purchase again after all. Thank you.Wire cutters are garbage. The cutting edge had steel left on it from the mold and does not cut anything. Same for the smooth needle nose pliers which I can actually use after rasping off the rough steel left on the edges from the mold. Next time I will invest in better quality.

This is a wonderful set of tops for jewelry making. Nothing else to say. Get his if your a beginner and even if your not, it’s got universal tools for so many things for making jewelry.

Nice set for the price. Handles are petite for my small hands with a nice rubber coating for a good grip.

I expected to use the split ring plier the most, but I actually find the ring to be even more useful. I'm glad I have both as they both work fantastic, and I'm even more happy this set came with a needle nose plier. The needle nose is handy at some of the most unexpected times. All of these are easy to use and their size is perfect for my medium glove hand size as well as storage. They're smooth going and I've had no issues whatsoever using them when needed.

These tools are just okay. They are good in a pinch, but made from substandard materials.

The purple one came rusty and it looks used I’m so unsatisfied.
