What more can a muncher ask for? Actually, I'm not much of a muncher, but I do have a snack every 2 1/2 hours, so the fact that these have only a couple grams of protein makes them perfect for mid-morning or afternoon snacks while working at the computer, etc. My favorite of the many benefits of eating amaranth is it's enormous content of high-net-gain calcium. I can feel my bones sighing with delight after I eat one of these, and getting stronger and healthier. I'm not a nutritionist, so do your own research on the many qualities of amaranth. The fact that they're sweetened with agave nectar is another selling point because it's my favorite sweet for sustained energy, (Agave nectar has a low glycemic rating and enters the body gradually over a longer period of time than sugar).
