(We had read that the Medicated Selsun Blue worked well as a face wash for skin problems). You use it in the shower as your face wash and rinse off immediately. Because he also has occasional dandruff problems, he also used it as purposed, for shampoo, as well. To our amazement, it worked well for both his hair and skin. He now uses this product exclusively for his shampoo, because it works better for him than the better known dandruff shampoo. He also uses it regularly as his face wash. Once in a while, I use it too, for the acne type sores I occasionally get on my scalp, and for my own facial redness. As far as we are concerned, this brand is the best dandruff shampoo, especially in it's medicated form.
