I really love this tool. You don't always know which tools you'll really end up using all the time when you buy them, you think every one will be really useful, but some stay on the shelf, and some you use constantly. I use this one all the time and when I use it, I really like it. I like the deep well of the scoop for potting soil. I even use it for mulch and compost and moving dirt around outside in the garden. I just find it really handy and a good size. I use this a lot in place of a hand trowel.

This is a great tool and I especially love the extra long handle so I don't have to bend into the borders so much now. My faithful claw has broken, and I saw this on offer with good reviews and purchased it. The appearance is lovely, smart and classic. The handle is a smooth wood and is very comto hold even for prolonged periods. There is a hole to add string for hanging. The claws themselves are not as sharp as I would have liked, the ends not as pointy but they work as they should. It's not a heavy tool so this is helpful with using it for extended periods of time. I use this tool for turning the borders and beds, digging weeds up and out, grabbing strong roots to remove, separating compost in huge bags that has become compacted and picking up debris collected at the far back of areas. It's a versatile tool. It's a must have tool in my garden collection.
