I am not an expert, but these are not food grade. They use Methyl Violet (aka Crystal Violet) as an indicator. While less toxic than the cobalt blue version, it is still toxic and carcinogenic. The clear versions may be OK, but it also depends what they were mixed with, as well as the level of free powders with them, etc. I suggest that you seek out expert advice before using on or near food. I would also not rely on a comment from the manufacturer saying they are OK, since you are probably getting a customer service person response, not a proper technical response.

What temperature should the oven be set to?

I do mine in a preheated electric oven at 180F (a bit over 80C), spread on a tray not thicker than 1cm (1/2 inch). Package sticker says: "Bake ... in oven ... at 150-200F for 0.5-1.5 hours. Please don't use microwave".

Are the organza bags microwave safe?

Please note that the organza bags can not be put in microwave directly for reactivate, you need to pour out the silica gel beads into a microwave / oven safe container, after recharge, put the beads back into the bags or store them in sealed container for future uses. There are detailed information on the "User Instruction" about how to use and recharge the silica gels.
