Great DIY project. I am still working on it but thought I would write my review. This is my first DIY mini house, somewhere I read it would take approx. 20 hours or so to complete and I am well past that and only 3/4 done. I am having so much fun, and it is so relaxing to work a bit on it every night. The kit came with everything I needed except a pair of wire cutters, scissors and needle nose pliers. That being said I really wanted my DIY to be MINE so I bought some brown paints and a sponge (I cut up) and have been adding a bit of dirt here and there on my pieces. The kits instructions are easy to follow, most are photos so you can actually SEE what you are suposed to be doing. The materials are good quality. The packagings a bit plain but beautiful regarless. I am very happy with my purchase and I would purchase a Robotime DIY mini house again in the future.

Each step was a mini challenge, but was rewarded continuously and brought lots of joy when each item completed. Does require patience and perseverance and best done over 3-5 days. Looking forward to my next craft project.

I enjoyed this project greatly. It was very time consuming, and that is exactly what I needed! I am in the hospital on bed rest for a total of almost 3 months after an in utero surgery, and this kept me very occupied for entire days. (I highly suggest trying to market these kits to hospital gift shops! Every nurse and doctor was in love with it and were going to mention the kits to other patients, and even their own family members!) Every time I'd complete one piece I had to do another. All of the finished pieces are adorable and detailed. I went as far as slightly bending the leaves of the plants to give them a realistic texture and shape. I did my best to measure, cut and assemble everything thing. Though, there are some parts that are slightly crooked or have glue showing, I am still happy with the way it turned out. I must note, I have not completely completed this yet. Once I got to the final steps of fitting the wood frames into eachother I learned that the slots inside the lower wood frame attached to the clear plastic does not line up with the wood floor "pegs" that are suppose to fit in to place. Also, the back wall slot for the shelf to attach into was cut much lower than the slot cut into the left side back wall. I ended up having to cut the peg off the back of the shelf so I could still glue it on. Because of floor frame issue I am not able to complete the project until I return home and have access to a cutting tool to adjust the slots. Also going to add that at times the instructions were very vague, even seeming that some steps were completely missing, so I had to improvise.
