Nice stenciling on the board on both sides helps you wire these modules to your battery pack properly. This module is pretty forgiving when it comes to soldering and connections. Works well.

Works great with a caveat: it can't handle initial starting current of a 7.2v cordless drill, but once it starts the circuit handles the high torque current just fine.I was modifying an old Dewalt cordless drill from Nicad to Lithium Battery, I ended up having to wire the drill directly to Battery, while this charger circuit only for charging, that little socket on the battery pack is the new charging port, it looks weird, but I have a new and more powerful drill.

And the reverse as well. When you are TESTING these, they’ll drive you nuts. “Why no power?” “Why no charge?”But in PRACTICE they just work. I’m not overly impressed with the balancing ability, but with 150+ cells, I’m probably asking too much.

I've used 2 of these so far. The first one worked perfectly. The second one got so hot that I burned my finger on it without any load on it. Wrecked 4 of my Lithium cells in the process. There were no visible shorts, and I've always installed my BMS's correctly and carefully. This one was no different, just defective. I can't in good conscience recommend this product. 2-stars now.Update: a few days later I installed a 3rd one, also defective. Installed it correctly and very carefully. Again too hot to touch, and the battery wasn't even recognized by my testers/chargers. I replaced it with a cheap 25a bms that works. The Seller was good about refunding me for the 1st defective one, and I'm waiting for a response from them. I raised it to 3 stars because they responded so quickly. Crossing my fingers.Update: Seller responded with "friend sorry to hear that . really". So now it's a one star. The final result, 8 brand new Li-Ion Cells that were killed by these BMS's

I think where I went wrong with these is I don't have a spot welder to attach the batteries to them. this was an attempt to reuse lithium ion batteries I had purchased for another project. while it did work in the end, one of the batteries was bad (and I didn't know that as the original PCB for those batteries died). if you've got a spot welder I suspect this'd be a great upgrade piece. also, when this was in place and working, the charge indicator on that light also worked normally.

Not the best price but delivered very quickly. Used this to create a custom rechargable internal battery pack. Works perfectly.

Working well in a DIY Li-ion battery, that'll do me......Happy 😃
