What is the differnce in the 150 mg and the 300 mg. Which is better?

I've always used the 150 dose and it works for me. However, I would assume that someone with more health needs (neuropathy, etc) would fare better with a higher dose.

Other than the "asparagus odor" in the urine, has anyone experienced notable negative side effects?

First night of trying it ... about 4 hours after taking it, I experienced strong heat sensation, close to that produced in me several years ago by niacin that lasted 2-3 min. then resolved. It was not quite as intense as niacin and definitely did not last as long as nician burn that can persist for 30-60 min in my case— and which feels like someone was ironing my skin. But it was worrisome. I have taken 100 mg doses of thiamine two times a day previously and often taken Alpha lipoid acid from 200-600 mg a day as separate products and never had this happen. This is my first experience with benfotiamine. Am wondering if anyone else has had this happen. And whether the product is extracted from a source that happens to have unreported niacin in it. If you did experience the intense heat with first doses, did this go away eventually, and how long before it stopped recurring with subsequent doses?

I take Drs. Best and it IS fat soluble.

Excellent

I think its working. With normal medicines i am taking it. Sugar(F) was 280. But after taking this, in 14 days sugar (F) is 125. Previously this value was not at all decreasing. It was toggling between 250and 280.
