The pieces are well constructed and painted very cleanly. The directions were easy to follow but the set was still interesting to construct. For example, the "Y" shape creates a different building process than a standard plane or ship build. This set is easy to play with but is sturdy enough to not break or fall apart and the "bombing" mechanic is actually pretty intuitive.
