Jackson UltimaExcel JS1291 Womens Ice Skates Width: Medium/Size: Youth 1.5 (Kid's)

I used to figure skate when I was younger and decided to pick it up again for fun so I purchased these skates. In figure skates, it is recommended to go down a full size because the boot has to be snug on your foot. I got a women’s 7 1/2 and I am normally a women’s 8 1/2. I used the size chart to double check that they would fit. It is also good to know that skates don’t come pre sharpened, so you will have to get the blades sharpened before using them. They are very stiff when u first get them and that is something you will have to get used to until you break them in a little. The stiffness provides good ankle support which is very important in figure skating. These are perfect for beginner to intermediate skaters I think.

Great skate, fits well. The size guide was a little hard to follow, mostly because some reviews said size 1 size down or a half size. I tend to wear a 6.5/7, more on the 7 size so I went with a size 6 skate and it fits really well. Nice and snug, ankles feel supported.

These are very decent skates and you can’t beat the price. I was a serious skater when I was young, but haven’t skated in 20 years and wanted to go recreationally or with my kids. These are comfy (for a new skate) and do the job. I go really fast and deep on the edges, and felt a little blade wobble, but still ok. I’m a solid 7.5 in shoes and the size 7 fits great!

It has been really difficult to use these skates. We bought them for My 6 years old daughter and since she started using it, her ankle hearts so bad that she frequently has to stop the classes and leave them in the middle. We have been insisting for more than 20 classes and the ice skates keep hurting her really bad :(

My daughter is just learning how to ice skate and wore these to an outdoor rink that was smooth, and also wore them on a rough pond turned skating rink. She likes them so far. As far as more elite performance I can't comment. But we were thrilled w/ price point and that they were vegan, or non-leather. Great!

I loved these skates. I took a leap of faith ordering them online after not having skated in over 15 years. They are so comfortable, didnt give me any trouble to break into. They are superb!

I’m a recreational skating coach (no spins or jumps, but lots of use), and I absolutely adore these skates! So cheap in the realm of skates, solid and tough blades, and lots of ankle support. Great personal use and beginner skates! Not sure how they’d hold up in more advanced programs, but a definite recommend.
