Easy to install and works great
I installed this in my golf cart. It would loose a charge over time when not used. This has solved the problem. Easy to install right near the battery.

It's important that you know how this 250 amp circuit breaker works. Installing incorrectly with the wrong battery cables can affect its performance. It's well made and works flawlessly. It's definitely easy to install. Comes with everything you need. Just install it correctly.

250A model can't even handle 125A
I bought a 250A unit to be the main breaker on a solar panel / 300AH battery system. Highest intended wattage was 2500 watts at 120v, which is 208 amps @ 12v through this breaker. Well...during a test run at 1480 watts (123.3A going through this breaker), the breaker got too hot to touch and tripped within 3 minutes of test initiation. All other cables in my setup were cool to the touch. After re-testing 3x and getting the same result, I am concluding that this unit is a total piece of junk. The studs are only 1/4" which i failed to notice, though the REAL concern is that the plastic body of this breaker was actually hotter than the metal lugs, heavily suggesting that the internals of this thing are probably a 100A unit that's masqueraded as a 250A item. Save yourself the money and get a true heavy duty unit with at least a 3/8" terminal and confirmed comments from others attesting that the breaker doesn't get hot under load. Save your money and get a unit

Worked good
Used this on the feed for an inverter in my truck, works good, it is plastic so you have to be careful when tightening the terminals down. Works good though, no complaints!

The provided lugs and the bolts they attach to are way too small
The lugs for the 250 amp breaker are nowhere near big enough to carry 100 amps let alone 250. The bolts they attach to are too small to attach serious lugs to as well. I saw a 200 amp breaker in a store and it had ends you would feed your wires into them totem down. I could put my thumbs into those holes. Where my pinky finger wouldn’t fit in the provided lugs for this breaker.
