In that respect, it is brilliant! The picture is super clear, installation was a breeze and the ability to find tune vertical adjustment to find the happy spot is fantastic. I love it. As a front and rear dash cam, I would be a little bit disappointed. In order for the front camera to get the full field of view, the mirror needs to be perpendicular to the road more or less. This means you get reflection from the passenger window and a little bit of glare. The best view comes from facing the mirror at you directly but the front camera doesn't pivot enough to the right so it gets the front of the vehicle, and a good view of the left-hand side but not the right.
