It is not bulky at the waist nor is there too much gathering so it would fit well under skirts without adding bulk. I like that there are slits on each side so you can walk easier since this is a slim fitting slip. I gave it four stars instead of five because it is so much longer than what the picture shows. I am 5 foot five and it comes almost to my ankles.
