I am absolutely in love with these protein hot chocolate packets! They are perfect when you are craving something sweet. They are high protein, low sugar, and low carb which makes these the perfect little dessert. They dissolve easily in water, and have a smooth texture. One packet makes a large mug of hot chocolate

OMG! So good. It's 20+ degrees in New York and this hit the spot! I'm also in my pre-op phase for my surgery where I'm required to intake protein. I didn't experience problems others had mentioned. While the taste is great, I wish there were more in the package for the price.

Don't go into this expecting delish homemade hot cocoa. This is a protein drink (originally designed, I assume, for folks who had bariatric surgery, hence the "Bari" part of the name.) I first tried this when I went low-carb/high-protein some years ago and I found it okay enough for a "I'm having a chocolate craving" treat at night, something not overly heavy, that took time to drink, and helped the craving pass, plus added protein. I'm back on an eating plan and decided to get some to tide me over on those night-cravings moments. I find it a bit too sweet these days (my taste buds changed?), but it's hot and with a few seconds in the micro after mixing, it foams up. If they cut back on the sugar and upped the cocoa, this would be really good for a protein drink. Enjoy.

I really like this hot chocolate! It is sugar free, tastes great, and has alot of protein. It is a nice late night treat!

I have a cup everyone morning. Starts off with 15g protein and gets the morning goo away. I make it creamier by adding whole milk. Same manufacturer as all the other brands of it I find (for 15g). Helps me hit the 150g of daily protein.

This is a great drink if you are looking to boost your protein intake. The flavor is good although sometimes I add a bit of Swiss Miss powder to it to make it richer tasting. That said, this brand is better than any of the others I have tried!

strange taste nothing like other commercially available hot chocolates. hard to dissolve.

The overall taste is good, which is really what matters most. As a diabetic, I find the low sugar products always have a funny flavor so I am happy to say it tastes just like regular cocoa. Outside of that, not sure the product warrants the cost, $15 for 7 packets is a little extra, considering regular cocoa is 1/2 the price (but the sacrifice is sometimes worth the extra cost if it at least tastes good). My only real complaint is about the condition of the product when I opened the package. This seems to be more of a qc distribution complaint. The item was shipped in a padded envelope and was completely flattened. When I opened the envelope the box was smashed with cocoa packets inside and on top of the crushed box, which screams whomever packaged it for shipping put it in that way. I did count to make sure all 7 were there but it really looked like someone stepped on the box, knocked a few packets out and just tossed it all into an envelope to ship. There was absolutely 💯 no way this happened in transit. Thankfully none of the packets were damaged and I did check the expiration dates to make sure I didn't receive an expired return. So if you don't care that you are likely going to get a trashed box in questionable shipping containers, then I'd take a gamble, the taste is good enough to trick me into thinking I am drinking regular cocoa.
