With COVID-19 locking down all gyms and making outdoor workouts challenging too (especially when getting exposed could put my at-risk mother-in-law in potential danger), my family and I had been seeking to buy an exercise bike for some time. For MONTHS they were sold out everywhere, but we finally got a Peloton. No, I did not get it for my wife for Christmas :-) We also got tile and laminated wood flooring throughout the house, and they presented two challenges: one was too slippery and the other was susceptible to scratching by heavy exercise equipment. A mat was needed! We used a yoga mat and though it worked, it was a tad too narrow and short and sweat ended up on the floor that needed to be wiped. Having sweat build up on the laminate floor would not go well. So, we searched for dedicated bike mats and came across this Powr Labs one. I had previously purchased the company's heart rate chest strap and was thoroughly impressed by it, giving Garmin and Polar a run for the money. It also is US-based, and I want to continue supporting American businesses, especially during this pandemic when the economy has been in a rough shape. Mat arrived and we used it for about a week. First, it is size well -- it's longer and wider than the yoga mat we previously used. It also feels more solid due to it being slightly thicker. Over time, this may prove money well-spent because as the plastic feet of the Peloton keep digging into the mat, I imagine that portion eventually wearing thin and having the feet scrape against the flooring underneath. Overall, nice quality and perfect for the bike. My wife also occasionally used it for yoga in the backyard.

A great quality product

We bought one for our porch and had freezing snow and freezing rain shortly thereafter. It is well worth the cost for the safety factor and the elimination of keeping up with the now clearing/ice melting. We were so impressed that we bought a second one to place below the porch step where we often get ice buildup. Highly recommend!

I needed a way to protect my floors and carpet from scratches because the feet of my spin bike would leave marks when I move it around. I also wanted to prevent staining from sweat that drips during workouts. This mat covers all those needs and then some. It is very durable and easy to clean. I thought the spin bike feet may end up cutting the mat after my 200 lbs (+the heavy bike) of pressure and multiple moves around the floors. It shows no signs of damage. the material is very durable. It is a very good value and I would buy again, This would also be a good workout mat. It is heavy and lays flat on the ground. Better than a standard yoga mat ( but not as portable). The microfiber cloth is a nice addition to help wipe away the seat during workouts.
