We propose to use this when the cooler mornings and evenings of Autumn in the Spring / Early Summer. (replaces electric heater) It is normally on for an hour or so at the time. There are three fixed heat settings and perhaps a more variable setting arrangement would be better, being able to adjust from low to high. Easy to start, but necessary to turn on and off as described. Others have reported high heat inside with the gas cylinder becoming very warm BUT we did not find this, we did place the cylinder not toughing the metal of the heat shield inside and found that this heat shield did not become other than warm. Pleased with this heater. The supplied regulator did not fit Calor Gas Irish Butane cylinder and we had to buy and change the regulator. DISSAPOINTMENT in that out of 4 large items from Amazon over a year or two 3 have had some damage presumably by the carriers. This heater had four small impact damage to the cardboard box, one of these reached through to chip the paint on the front of the heater. It is minor but is there and annoying, and if ever I wanted to sell will may affect the resale price! The item is shipped id it's showroom box without any additional packing. Amazon have return procedures but such a hassle. Compensation ? T S Hamilton

Good product. Easy to use and kicks out quickly a bit of heat.

Avoid buying this heater. I received mine on 7th February and it only worked for 3 days. I paid £110 from calor gas to deliver and fit a full 15kg gas bottle and thought they must of sold me a nearly empty cylinder but they came back to my house and tested the gas level and it was full so it's the actual heater that doesn't work. The returns of this product are such a hassle and to costly so now I am out of pocket as I now need to purchase another heater but I definitely won't be buying this one again or using the retailer ever again.

Great little fire. I've had no problem with this fire. I really don't understand why people are saying it's flat packed. The only screws to attach were the two that hold the back plate in place. I'm over 60 and suffer with arthritis but had no problem with this fire. Worked as soon as I attached the gas bottle. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This would be a great heater if it actually worked. Arrived damaged but the company sent out replacement parts which i fitted. Worked fine for a while but now the flame won't stay on. I've contacted the company again but after more than a week, they still haven't got back to me, despite them saying they'd get back to me within 48 hours. I wouldn't buy again from this company.

Very quick delivery arriving five days earlier than expected. Straight forward set up and easy to move around. Purchased because of recent power cuts but tested and was impressed with by the amount of heat put out. Modern styling. Very pleased.

I bought this cabinet heater several weeks ago and after assembly I fitted the gas bottle and tried moving the unit ( on a laminate floor) only to have one of the castors collapse so I bought and fitted a set from Amazon. Sadly the metal base which houses the female thread into which the front castors screw is so thin that it buckled due to the weight of the 14kg gas bottle leaving the whole thing leaning forward . I’ve now fitted a metal strip to support the underside of the cabinet body with the castors passing through it. There are no children in the household and the cabinet hasn’t been abused in any way so overall I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the product.

This was an interesting buy. Turned up on time and really looks great. My issue is--NO ONE WILL SELL ME A GAS CYLINDER!! B&Q-Nope! Local caravan dealer-Nope! Homebase (Now gone)-Nope Local garage-Nope! So I have this great portable fire in new condition, but absolutely no use to me!
