The tripod head movement is a little rough. The phone mount is ok. I consider those 2 pieces as freebies included in the set, but they function just fine if you don't already have them. The only thing I found lacking, I wish it came with a rigid case for the small lenses. They come loose in a small drawstring pouch. I plan to fix that by customizing an Altoids sized tin for them. The weight of the zoom lens makes the phone less steady, making it more difficult to hold on a subject and get a clear photo. It has a small tripod, which I haven't tried, but that would also defeat the idea of spontaneous point-and-shoot because it would require setting up.
