A: LOL..I am happy I was unaware of your fact! No bears were attracted because of this Coleman candle, no moose either! I have not seen a bear in our area of Alaska but we do have moose living on the road. All I know is, as a 'personal candle’ it has helped keep mosquitos of me! It is long lasting too.

This is a great deal for the price, just pop off the top and light the wick easy setup putting top under the tin love the pine smell as it is not overwhelming or smell like chemicals, keeps the mosquitos away for hours long lasting easy to use wax is thick. It’s appearance in the gazebo looks like a regular romantic candle.
