I use the luggage sleeve which fits perfectly over my luggage handle. One thing- I had to gerry rig it with heavy card board to create a flat bottom. It comes with a cute bag with the Tumi insignia. Able to hold my cosmetics. **Q: Are the handles sturdy to carry weight without ripping the nylon?** A: Definitely! I have packed this bag completely full and have never had issues. This bag is very sturdy considering how light weight it is. **Q: Can this be use as crossbody? Does it have a long strap?** A: No, the TUMI Voyageur Just In Case Tote does not come with a crossbody strap. There are oddities like the tag is "Alpha" not "Voyager" the line it is classified as. I removed the bag from the zip pouch and the bag stitching and frays to me make it seem like an irregular or could possibly be a fake. The bag is missing some details from the video on the Tumi site. The nylon material is good quality and sturdy as expected, I have a few other Tumi items from the Voyager line so I could compare. I've decided to keep it. For the price and my limited use case it works.
