One compartment missing based from the template.
Just recieved this item today, it was delayed. On the instruction template mentioned o-ring (B). But the facts is I only have the lid (A) & the container (C). Dissapointed with it. But I will try and see if it works without the o-ring.

Love this thermos!
I bought this for my daughter, as I wanted the option to put something hot in her lunch on cold days. We leave early in the morning (7 am) and she has her first nutrition break at 11:30. I had made broth and veggies the night before, and put them on the stove with a handful of pasta and filled her thermos with hot water while we got ready. Filled the thermos and we were out the door. She said it was still warm at her break.. yay! This will definitely come in handy this winter, and will help with some lunch variety.

Fantastic product
I ordered this for the first lunches outside the house of my 7 month old, but it is also great to take hot water with you for the baby formula. Shipment went great!

Highly Recommended For Toddlers In Daycare, See Tips In The Review
I own two of these. The main reason I bought them was for my daughter and her daycare. After being transitioned to the Toddler room from Infant, Toddler no longer had microwaves or refrigerators. Therefore all hot foods needed to be placed in a thermos and cold foods in a cold pack. The cold packs were easy, since we had several bags provided to us from Enfamil/Gerber w/ ice packs. The hot food situation though, was a little more difficult. I don't know if you can actually get sick by eating chicken tenders, beef stew, hot dogs sitting at room temperature for several hours. Personally, I am under the assumption that if I am to provide warm food, I think it's safer to keep them warm. Unfortunately, my wife and I searched high and low locally but couldn't find a "tiny" thermos to put her food in. Everything was just too big. Luckily Amazon and this item available and it got pretty good reviews, so we decided to give this a try. The construction seems great and it's a name I recognize even when I was a kid (when my dad had those big tall Thermos canisters with the handle when he went to work). For those of you considering this product, maybe my tips would help you get good use out of this like my family does: Lots of complaints call for how it doesn't keep food hot for very long unless either the food itself is hot or you use boiling water to "heat up" the Thermos. What I've done is resort to filling the Thermos up with hot water by using my wife's Keurig. By instead of dumping the water out after the "warm up", I keep it in there so that the thermos is guaranteed to stay warm. If you own a Keurig and are wondering how much hot water to use, just use the Espresso setting. It fills up the Thermos with HOT water but not so much where it overflows when you try to put on the lid. Next, I use a zip plastic snack bag (miniature sandwich bags) to put my child's food in. The purpose of this is two-fold. It keeps the food separated from the hot water and it makes the Thermos easier to clean. So all things that need to stay warm like vegetables (like green beans or corn), finger foods (like chicken tenders or hot dogs), or even soups (like beef stew) will stay warm and cleanup is as simple as just rinsing the Thermos out. You can add some dish soap (if needed) during cleaning. Then I put the bag(s) of food in the hot water. As I mentioned in the previous paragraphs, this keeps my daughter's food warm for several hours until it's lunchtime. You're getting the best of both worlds (hot water insulation) in an insulated Thermos and it makes cleanup MUCH easier (since you're just filling it up with hot water). No actual food touches the Thermos. We like this product so much, we own two of them. We alternate between the two to make sure they are fully clean & dry between each day. We've had no issues of mold or temperature issues by doing what I described in my review.
