This product is supposed to be refrigerated. Does Amazon store it and ship it in a refrigerated container?

Hi Shirley,Yes we ship all refrigerated probiotics with an ice pack and in a thermal insulated bag. We charge a little more to cover the cost of the materials and extra weight for shipping. By the way all manufacturers that recommend refrigeration of their probiotics ship them to retailers with ice packs and insulated boxes. Will this ship with a cold pack?

Yes. Then it must be refrigerated.

Do you have to keep this in the fridge?

I can’t recall if the labeling says you have to keep it in the fridge, but if I remember correctly it cane packed in cold. And at the Co op it’s always in their fridge. I did keep it in the fridge- as I do with several supplements.

If these are like consuming from Whole Foods, why is it restricted to children?
