Corsair Hydro X Series, XD5 RGB Pump/Reservoir Combo, RGB Lighting

No lo indico como una carencia si no como una ventaja, no es ni muy grande, ni muy pequeña, ni ruidosa ni silenciosa, ni ponente o lo justo. En cuanto te sales de los parámetros se ven sus fallos, por ejemplo, tu equipo se calienta y se regula con el PWM, la bomba incremente sus RPM lo que causa que tenga un nivel más alto de ruido. Como trasfondo está montada en un equipo con un 3900x y una 5700xt con 2 radiadores de 240mm uno de 20mm y otro de 35mm Vengo de una Laing DDC con más de 10 años, con lo que el nivel de ruido de esta bomba es nulo La bomba es una D5(de Hungria) y sin la conexión de PWM se pone al 100% lo que es extremadamente útil para ir metiendo agua al circuito, puesto que las bombas necesitan toda la potencia para empujar el aire dado que este tiene más resistencia que el agua. En el ámbito de conexiones está bien equipada, cuenta con 4 conexiones inferiores y 2 obvias en la parte superior, las inferiores algunas de ellas se pueden usar de tomas de entrada mientras que una es siempre obligada como salida de agua, incluye un manual con las diversas configuraciones. El sensor que incluye es un terminal con la conexión T_Sensor o al menos eso parece ser, en otros artículos del fabricante (no de corsair) de este sensor y terminal lo son, pero mi placa base no tiene con lo que no he podido testearlo. Los únicos contras que veo es que la bomba y deposito están bien pero el producto es bastante caro para lo que realmente es y se ven los recortes, como tapones de plástico (si has montado agua previamente es muy posible tener tapones metálicos y racores extra) y obligación a usar el Commander si quieres hacer uso del RGB mientras que la mayoría de marcas te permiten usar el RGB de tu placa. A pesar de que no es muy grande tiene protuberancias que pueden dificultar su colocación en la caja.

Pump is working very well so far and the reservoir lighting looks nice. Conveniently includes everything necessary for mounting the reservoir, which allows for mounting with a variety of options including to a radiator, fan, directly to the case, etc. It also includes a clip to run the pump without power going to the rest of the PC, which is useful when initially filling the loop. They could include an extra plug or two, because it otherwise seems that they assume you will be using the temperature sensor to fill one of the ports (I'm sure most people will use it, but something to note). The other thing to note is that, while the pump and lighting will work as a standalone unit, you will need to get the Corsair Commander Pro in order to customize the lighting and other settings or it will just go through a standard color cycle. Most people will find the Corsair XD5 to be more than adequate for a CPU, single or dual GPU, and even multiple radiator loop. Temperatures and water flow in my loop that includes two GPUs, a CPU, 480 radiator, 140 radiator, and a 280 radiator are good so far. Using pure distilled water with a few drops of PTs Nuke biocide as coolant. I bought this to expand and upgrade my current water cooling loop and have only had it installed for a few days now; if there are any issues with it in the future, I will update this review.

Also alles in allem eine gute Pumpe mit einem vernünftigem Behälter. Mir gefällt: - leise Pumpe - Design - Leistung - Regelbarkeit der Pumpe - Der Temperatursensor (im Lieferumfang enthalten) - einfache Montage Kritikpunkte: - die Halterung ist zu schwach, habe die Kombi am Radiator befestigt und sie hängt schief da das Gewicht die Halterung überfordert - das man, um die RGB Funktion zu nutzen, extra Geld ausgeben muss für den Commander - Das man die Pumpe nicht mit der Software von Corsair steuern kann ohne den Commander zu kaufen Preis-/Leistung: 3,5 Sterne, da für diesen Preis durchaus mehr enthalten sein sollte ohne den Commander von Corsair extra kaufen zu müssen (siehe Kritik). Ja ich wusste das vorher, trotzdem finde ich es zu teuer wenn man den Preis hinzurechnet um alle Funktionen nutzen zu können. Denn mit dem Commander liegt der Gesamtpreis bei ca. 220€ und dafür ist es meiner Meinung nach zu teuer. Fazit: Es macht was es soll und läuft dabei leise auch bei höherer Stufe. Natürlich wird es lauter auf Volllast, da Sie bei mir aber nie in diesen Bereich kommt eher unwichtig. (Die Lüfter hört man mehr wenn die auf volle Leistung gehen). Mir war wichtig dass ich den Temperatursensor habe und die Pumpe regelbar ist. Aktuell muss ich dafür in`s Bios gehen um die Pumpe zu regeln bzw. die Temps auszulesen, etwas umständlich und daher macht man es auch nicht häufig. Ich würde die Pumpen/AGB Kombi wieder kaufen und kann Sie empfehlen, wenn man mit der oben genannten Kritik leben kann.

Love the qauility of this res, but it is a bit expensive and the RGB will only work with their corsair controller which I dont have

The best thing I like about this pump and reservoir is that it is able to control both the CPU and GPU waterblocks from Corsair. It also comes with both brackets for a 120 and 140 radiator mount. It even comes with a thermal sensor and all the screws for different mounting options. Also like how it comes with a 24 pin jumper plug to help prime the whole loop.
