How do you wash? I typically wash my gallon jug every other day.

We recommend hand washing your Bottle, VitaBead Diffuser, and Wide-mouth Cap with organic plant-based soap. Please note that the DYLN Bottle is not designed to be dishwasher safe (Bottle, Diffuser and Wide-mouth Cap). Dishwashers can reach high enough temperatures that it may impact the scratch-resistant paint of the exterior and compromise the insulation benefit.

Can I put lemon in it?

Thank you for your interest, you can add additives to the DYLN bottle, we do however recommend not adding anything that might leave any physical residue or sugar residue since that might impair the vitabeads.

How does it make water alkaline? What's in the diffuser?

magnesium, tourmaline, silica, and zinc I’m not sure as to the amounts or if there are other ingredients since that is proprietary to the company.

How often do you have to replace the alkaline component?

We recommend replacing your Diffuser every 3 months on average, depending on your daily usage. As each Diffuser creates 300 liters of alkaline water, you can register your DYLN Bottle to track and be reminded when it’s time for replacement based on your personal daily water consumption. This way, you can focus on staying hydrated and we’ll do the accounting.
