These corelle dishes are perfect for a family kitchen. Being nonbreakable is the best point about them. I would buy them again.

I bought a couple of the christmas corelle sets, but they did not include the lunch plate and that is the size I most often use. I will use the dinner plate as more of a 'charger.' They don't offer the christmas prints in any of the lunch plate size, so I chose these. The embossed area is only on the outer edge and it very elegant - which made me think it will go with the christmas prints nicely and it does. I changed from super heavy ironstone dishes set years ago because they were just too heavy to be lifting in and out of the cupboard. I whose Corelle as my every day and special occasion dishware. I've never looked back. Lightweight, but extremely durable. Dishwasher, micro safe. I am very happy with these embossed luncheon plates - although I do hope one day they expand the holiday size options! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
