One of the top three metal detectors I have tried out just because it exceeds all my expectations for this price range. The screen and controls are better than any of the other inexpensive metal detectors I have tried in recent years. It's actually intuitive and the settings make sense.....and they make a difference. As I've thoroughly cleared the yards around my house over the years, I set up a few tests. 1. Nails (buried, and on top) 2. Aluminum Can (buried and on top) 3. Pennies, nickles, quarters (burried and on top) 4. Wedding Ring (Gold...but on top because it's my wedding ring.....) The nails registered between 37 and 42 consistently whether buried six inches or laying on top of the lawn. Aluminum cans gave some really high squeaks in the 70s and 80s. Pennies, nickles, and quarters were all in the 80's, even up to ten inches underground. My wedding ring came up right at 84. Other things to note, this was able to find a buried cable along the back fence with ease - squeaked in the 50s. Now...There is one hiccough I noticed: It doesn't continuously squeak when over an object. I had to run it over several times just to be sure it was actually detecting something. In this, it was also very consistent. I had to do several passes in the same general area to get to the targets. Not a big deal, but more expensive detectors sustain a tone. Just something to be aware of. Check those targets a few times! Accessories are okay - low volume mono headphones that are absolutely NOT waterproof and are not comfortable to wear for extended periods. Shovel/Pick - It'll do the job, but you'll want something sturdier in the long run. It's not bad...Just not great. As an inclusion in a set for a beginner these accessories are just fine. So how does this compare to something that costs over a hundred dollars more? It holds up okay for what it is: a beginner metal detector...Compared to other beginner metal detectors, this does fine. How does it compare to something in the same price range? KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK! By far the best sub-$100 metal detector I've tried.

This detector is as promised. It is super lightweight and easy to set up and use. Was nervous that it would be too bulky and heavy for me to use however it is lightweight and versatile. I was able to use for hours without getting tired or needing a helping hand. The machine is accurate and I have had lots of fun and adventures using this product to detect anything precious hidden from my view. It has turned me into a real life treasure hunter. Fun for all ages and a great hobby.

Purchased this to go metal detecting with my brother for fun - set up and assembly were easy enough and it seems to work fairly well. Good value for the price without breaking the bank.

Got this as a birthday present for my hubby and he loves it! Easy to assemble and easy to use. We just had a new roof put on and used the detector to find nails that the crew missed. It worked wonderfully. Can't wait to use it on my parents 120 year old farm!

Got this to find my daughter’s lost necklace. We’ve used it quite a bit, but only found junk metal for the most part. Definitely taking it to the beach next year though!

I read many reviews on Amazon on many Metal detectors and decided on this one. Definitely pleased. It is very light weight and balanced. Well constructed and seems pretty accurate test detecting different coins and jewelry placed on the floor. In practical use I found the nails on my property after a roof replacement buried in gravel and a few screws buried in the lawn. It makes the park fun again too! Happy with my purchase!

Husband put it together within 10 minutes and found the item I lost in the yard (a throwing knife that went underground) within 10 minutes. I can rest easy finally, knowing that he won't be impaled by that knife the next time he mows the lawn.

Plz don't buy it,it has no option of returning even u try a lot. It detects iron as a gold one, verified several times,wanted to return but no option available, No cancellation available on Amazon, I wanted to to cancel on the same day on order but Amazon didn't allowed so. As I summerize it will be not shown on customer reviews and will be deleted soon. Very disappointed but nothing can be done. It will be helpful to buy local product than Amazon,at least return be possible at some cost.

We just purchased this item for our kids to have fun and keep busy while we are at the cottage. Delivery was very fast. So far we have put it together and have gone to the beach to test it out and find some treasures before we head to the cottage. The unit comes together very easily and turns on right away. It makes different sounds based on the metals it locates. Very happy with this purchase, the price was right and perfect for my kids to spend as much time with it as they like as they love it and keep them busy. Thank you!
