The dimensions that I found on Amazon were unsatisfactory, so I will post a better set of dimensions here. "small" (B0032VDG14,BAM-10006): thickness = 7/8" folded length = 8" unfolded length = 12" width = 3.5" circular depression = 2&7/8" diameter "jumbo" (B0032VFHX4,BAM-10007): thickness = 7/8" folded length = 10" unfolded length = 15" width = 4.5" circular depression = 3" diameter Note that the circular depression is not proportional to the overall size of the press, and is nearly identical for both. Because of this, I don't really see the purpose of the "jumbo" version, all it does is take up more space in the kitchen. Regarding the negative reviews, I agree that the press is rather flimsy, and I tightened some of the screws myself. BUT, I don't think a tostonera needs to be very strong -- pressing once-fried plantains is very easy. So, I would say it is constructed according to its purpose.
