Review: Conditioner bars are the best! - I purchased this product because it came with the tin to store the product in. This is my first time using a conditioner bar and I am so happy with the product. The smell is fantastic! The rosemary and peppermint balance each other and bring out the best with an uplifting and invigorating scent without being overly scented. I love that the ingredients are simple and transparent too. Huge bonus for me! In terms of application, I run the bar down my hair in sections and then collect my hair halfway down and kind move the bar throughout the ends for a good overall application. My hair tends to be on the fluffy/frizzy side with waves throughout and this bar helped keep my volume and frizz tame. My boyfriend uses this too and typically doesn't care too much about products but gave me positive feedback with regards to the smell, ease of application and softness of his hair. I'm stoked to have purchased this product to reduce the amount of plastic I bring into my home. I'll be able to re-use the case over and over and travel with it as well. Review: 6 STARS! The only product I wash my hair with - I have coarse, softly waving hair (mixed European descent) and I'm trying no-poo. This is the only thing I'm washing my hair with and has been for a couple months, and I looove it. I use what feels like a ton but the bar has still lasted since Christmas, and rinse thoroughly. Then I run the bar between my hands and brush it it while it's wet (detangles great) and put that on my ends, and towel dry or occasionally blow dry. When dry my hair feels soft and a little textured, like it has a whiff of styling product in it. It's not sticky or weirdly slick though, it's just soft and manageable. I switched to this from New Wash which is sort of the same idea but OMG expensive!! I like this better. It smells AMAZING. Also I can travel with this bar, from international flights to the gym, you just toss it in your bag. I love it! I've already purchased my second one.

I purchased this product because it came with the tin to store the product in. This is my first time using a conditioner bar and I am so happy with the product. The smell is fantastic! The rosemary and peppermint balance each other and bring out the best with an uplifting and invigorating scent without being overly scented. I love that the ingredients are simple and transparent too. Huge bonus for me! In terms of application, I run the bar down my hair in sections and then collect my hair halfway down and kind move the bar throughout the ends for a good overall application. My hair tends to be on the fluffy/frizzy side with waves throughout and this bar helped keep my volume and frizz tame. My boyfriend uses this too and typically doesn't care too much about products but gave me positive feedback with regards to the smell, ease of application and softness of his hair. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ So soft! But lemon Pledge scented! Yeeesh.

My husband says my hair smells exactly like lemon Pledge furniture dust-removal spray. Now that he has said that, it's the only thing I think of when I catch a whiff. NOT what I would choose! If you love that scent, this is for you. (I'd give you mine, even.) That said, my hair tends to feel a bit course and dry, tending to have split ends. My hair is very soft after using this conditioner bar. I have brown hair with copperish highlights that curls into loose springs, or frizzes to rival Einstein's hair texture on bad days. No frizzies this morning after my shower last night. However, the copper shine is not there. My hair doesn't feel heavy at all, but that bright luster isn't there. It does still have a softer sheen. The smell is the deal breaker for me. When using it, it smells very strongly airfreshener lemon, with an undertone of pot. Like a lemon Hi-Chew candy. The pot undertone disappears when the hair is dry, and the lemon scent fades a lot. The feel is very invigorating! It's almost a light mentholated feeling. I shower at night, so this also doesn't work for me. If you are looking for a conditioner that also helps wake you up, this is awesome! Throw this in your gym bag! All in all, if this company could make a more subtle scent and eliminate the menthol feeling, I would be back in a heartbeat! (Can I suggest German chamomile; the fresh crushed plant scent, not a tea; with a hint of Earl Gray tea scent, minus the tannic bit. It would really match with your product in a great way. And it would still be a gender neutral scent.) Please? And thank you!
