Pretty good for a polyester resin
I am a fan of epoxy for boat fiberglass projects, but had a project that called for polyester resin. I am fairly impressed with this product, but like most polyester resins you need to move fast. The following is based on my own use, so if you follow the below know that your mix ratio, temperature and type of fiberglass used can lead to different results. Using 1/2 oz hardener for every 1 quart of resin I had about a 10-15 minute working time at around 60 degree F (used a plastic measuring cup to be precise). If you have worked with fiberglass and resin before and know what you are doing you are probably limited to a 3-4 sq ft area if working with 1.5 oz mat. Anything heavier you probably need to reduce down to a 1-3 sq ft. area per quart of resin. For newbies, start small (less than 1 sq ft) to get a feel for how to use the product. The resin is pink and once you mix in the hardener it turns brown, which is nice because it let's you know that things are mixed correctly. The hardener bottle also has measurement lines (line every 1/2 oz) which works a lot better than counting drops from a tube. Even on the cooler side the resin flows nicely and soaks into the cloth with minimal use of a bristle brush and fiberglass roller. Since the temperatures in my area are in the 60s and I had a working time of 10-15 minutes, I would be cautious if using this during the heat of the summer. You can reduce the hardener to give you a longer working time, but all polyester resins have short working times compared to epoxy, so you just need to be aware. Seems to sand easy with 60 grit.

FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC
Very nice product! I was building a plywood camper shell, then used this to glass it for waterproofing. Very thin and easy work with compared to Bondo fiberglass resin, which is thick and clumpy and basically horrible. My project needed 4 gallons, I wish I had ordered more of this instead of finishing with Bondo. If you’re building anything with fiberglass, get this! Seriously, it’s 2 gallons for the price of 1 of the other brands AND it works like a dream! Crack a window and wear a respirator when you use it because it’s got VERY strong fumes and will give you a headache, but the results are amazing. I will definitely be ordering more for some future boat projects.

Poor shipping. Damaged bottle caps
The product is good. I bought this before and it worked very well. It cured hard even at 55'f in my garage. I decided to buy more. The second order came in like this. See the photos. There was no shipping protection material in the box. The cap of the bottle was broken for both. The seal was partially open and the resin was leaking. I tried to return these, but when I printed out the shipping label, I realized I had to pay the shipping cost. I canceled the return. I will try to use it up before it gets bad.

Great Epoxy at a Great Price!
I used True Composites epoxy for the outside of my Chinese Warrior so I can put the statue outside. It worked perfectly. This is my first statue, first used of epoxy and fiberglass. Of course I had issues! LOL. But overall I couldn't have been happier. True Composites ships very quickly and their products are priced very well.

Great Product but Move Fast
This is a very good laminating resin for just about any project. Very hard and fairly tack free but use a wax additive to get a super tack free surface. Also it has a pretty short pot life compared to an epoxy resin. In 80+ degree ambient temperatures it only lasts about 15 minutes so it's best on large flat surfaces that can be squeegeed rather than brushed.

Everything you’d expect from polyester resin
Normal polyester resin. Worked well.

major structural failure, weak bond, not worth the price.
complete delamination of my transom only where i used this cheap stuff, where i used a more reputable product in the same area no damage. tried a side by side test, this stuff pulls apart with your hands, any other brand tested we had to use a winch to cause delamination.
