I have one client who has a parrot that her mama calls "EVIL". After my first sitting job with her I had nips on every finger and up my arms. I wasn't happy! I got these and went to go do my job with this parrot. She nips at my fingers and arms the whole time I'm holding her, and I don't feel a thing. She's happy I'm not waving her off and I'm happy I'm not getting a bloodletting while doing my job. Now if they only made these for my ears. This bird is evil. I got the longer pair and they come to the bottom of my t-shirt sleeves, and I have pretty long arms. They are roomy for me. For a smaller person (Under 5' 8") I can see them being way to big. They are soft inside which is nice, I was worried about the seams irritating my skin. I can't speak to the durability of these as mine won't get regular daily use, however they are of good quality, and I can see them holding up for a while.
