I can’t speak to how well the serum works over a longer length of time as I’ve only been using for a few days, but so far so good; some reviewers found they didn’t like the scent but I actually think it’s quite nice. A light, fresh citrus smell that I personally find pleasant and refreshing. The consistency reminds me a lot of pure aloe Vera, squeezed straight from the plant, it’s almost like a gel and leaves a slightly rubbery feel on my skin. Makes sense because the description says that it uses aloe. It’s not unpleasant though, that’s where you get the the “plump and firm” effect. The reason I bought this serum is mainly for the hyaluronic acid. Supposedly great for maintaining a soft, even complexion. My skin is clear and looks great, no rashes or breakouts and I have very sensitive skin so any skin care product that doesn’t give me a bad reaction is a thumbs up in my book. The only thing I would say is that I wouldn’t use this as a moisturizer, it just doesn’t seem to cut it for that purpose. The instructions on the box do suggest using the serum along with your favorite moisturizer, so I rub some vitamin E balm into my face and neck before applying the serum and it seems to be working great. It’s a pretty good price for the amount that you get. My skin looks clear and smooth, no reason why I wouldn’t buy this serum again.

So much better than lotion and it doesn’t make my skin break out. I like that the ingredients are straightforward and simple. No extra coloring or fragrance which always makes me think of unnecessary chemicals. It’s just a great product.

I have been using this serum for a couple of years now. Although I started with good skin (good genes) I use this every morning, and at night when I remember, around my eyes and around my mouth. I have no wrinkles in either area. Only small crows feet when I smile really big - but then, who doesn't? It is light, non-greasy, and absorbs well within a minute or two. No oily marks on my pillow at night, no problems pulling clothes over my head in the morning. Literally a large droplet amount (less than the size of a kernel of corn) addresses both eyes, and the same around my lips, so it lasts a long time. It is reasonably priced and there is no skin irritation. For reference, I'm Italian olive skin, 60+, former smoker, spend a good amount of time outdoors in the sun, wear very little make-up.

I picked up this Advanced Clinicals Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum because I wanted a cheap way to add some extra moisture to my daily skincare routine. It easily deserves a four-star rating because you get a huge glass bottle that actually hydrates without costing a fortune. The watery fluid sinks into the skin within seconds and does not leave any greasy or sticky layer behind. If you want to save a significant chunk of money on a basic daily booster, this handles the job perfectly. After using it every day for a few weeks on my dry skin, I noticed it really helps smooth out fine lines and stops flaking. It sits nicely under my thicker moisturizers and makeup without balls of product rolling or pilling up on my face. The big bottle easily lasts way longer than the expensive brands I used to buy while doing the exact same thing for my hydration levels. Having this as a simple base layer makes a massive difference in keeping my skin smooth all day long. The biggest drawback is that the texture is incredibly thin and runny so it easily slips right through your fingers if you are not careful. It also has a faint added scent that might cause some redness or irritation if your skin is super sensitive. On top of that, the dropper lid does not seal tight enough for travel and will leak if it gets tossed around loosely in a bag. But if you just want a cheap hydrating base to put under your regular face cream, this stuff is a total steal.

Very hydrating and thick formula. Very lovely for my combination skin. Right now, I'm very dry (with some oily sections) and this serum is working so well. It keeps my skin hydrated the entire day. The niacinimide added in is not that bad too. It's not too strong but of course, always use sunscreen. I would definitely buy this again. Great price too. Very affordable and worth the price.

After hearing people rave about Advanced Clinicals, I absolutely had to test out some of the products. I have tan/brown ethnically mixed skin that is prone to some acne, oily/combination t-zone, some dark spots from older acne marks, slight blemishes and dull under eye bags. I've been in search of products that fill in small lines on my forehead and around my eyes, even out my skin tone and help bring the natural radiance out in my caramel complexion. When this arrived I was happy to see that the packaging was pretty, clean looking, and had ALL the information for the product listed either on the box or the bottle. Also, the size was excellent! I used this every day (2x's a day) and It lasted me well into the 2 months. Now to list the pros & cons... PROS: The texture of this serum is nice and slick. Very velvet like. It's not too thick or too runny or too thin but just right. It applies to clean skin very smoothly and a little definitely goes a long way. It has a very pleasant super light fragrance that's basically unnoticeable & if I did notice it, it was gone fairly quickly. It brightens & tightens skin instantly and gives your complexion a boost of GLOW that is just beautiful. As far as the little frown lines I have on my forehead I did notice some tightening but nothing that was so dramatic or long-lasting that it made a huge difference. It didn't make my skin sticky or oily at all but it DID add a very nice hydration boost to my skin for the 2 months I used it. CONS: The only con I can think of is this really didn't help to even out my skin tone like other Hyro Serums so that was a bit of a disappointment. Other than that I really don't have any cons to list about this serum. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 for what it claims to do. With no oily aftermath or stickiness, this could be a great serum for some people, I'm thinking it just would depend on the type of skin you have and what you're looking for in a serum. All in all, if I were wanting a glow booster and added hydration only I think this would be a pretty great serum. Especially with the amount of product that you get for the price. I would buy this again in the future just to add to my cabinet of beauty products for those bleary skin days if nothing else.
