Build A BeltMen's Classic Black Slider 1.25" Wide Buckle with Canvas Web Belt

I am a pretty large guy it is hard to find a belt for me. I saw that they have XXXL 62-70 inch according to their sizing. In my experience with other belts those are usually false and run really small. But I gave this a try regardless. Low and behold they are actually accurate with their sizing!!! I have used this belt every day since I got it 3 months now. With zero problems!! Decent belt, I wish it was just a tad wider - it feels a little feminine (Note: My use of the word 'feminine' is not to be misconstrued as a macho toxic-masculinity-pos-like statement. I just mean it's more like a woman's belt in that it's not as wide as a typical man's belt, for better or for worse. I still wear it. And don't blame me, blame the belt loops on my man pants, they're screaming for a wider width. Think woman's watchband vs. man's watchband and you'll run into the same engendered dilemma.)

This was by far the worst belt I have ever attempted to use. When the store where I normally buy my web belts was out of stock I decided to check out Amazon and get one there. I came across this belt and decided to give it a try. It didn't even make it to noon on the first day before the belt buckle busted when I went to tighten it. The belt itself seemed to be made of decent material. Maybe the company should spend a little more on the buckle and beef it up to stronger metal rather than making it out of this paper thin garbage! I wouldn't recommend this belt to ANYONE!! Thanks for nothing....

I bought this for my son who is special needs. It can be difficult to get belts that fit him and that last. Typically the leather belts are fake leather variety and they rarely last long. Also, like most belts, the leather belts are restricted to sizes based on holes in the belt. This belt is infinitely adjustable within the length you cut it at. I made his slightly long so he has room for adjustment, and it is easy for him to adjust it. He loves it.

After working all day I would sometimes find that my scrub bottoms would begin falling as the tie-cord would slowly stretch from the weight of items crammed into my pockets. This belt was the perfect solution to my problem. It is low profile, so it doesn't print. It stays secured while still being easily adjustable. And finally, it is affordable!

I purchased this because of the metal buckle. Didn't want a plastic unit. The way I shortened it was put it on, measure how much too long it is, pull buckle and belt part way out of the pants, pop open the metal teeth retainer clip, pull the belt the amount you measured out past the metal retainer teeth, cut with sharp scissors, Pull belt cut edge back almost to the metal teeth retainer and lock the retainer. Belt is now adjusted and you do not have to heat and melt the belt materiel.

It would have been nice if I could have found this color of belt in the 1 1/2" width as the other canvas web belts that I have ordered from Amazon. It is only offered in the 1 1/4" width however, and I searched through many pages of belts. The buckle with this belt is also the cheaper roller locking style instead of the more robust locking bar with teeth on the back and a flip top clasp that comes with the wider size belts. I wear cargo pants whenever I need to carry a lot of or heavy items in my pants pockets, and the wider the belt the easier it is to keep your pants up to carry that stuff. But I ordered this belt mainly for the color to go with some of my shirts.

I like the belt, but the buckle has a sharp edge on it, that gets really uncomfortable as it gets later in the day. You don't notice it when you put it on, until you already have a sore spot. I ended up changing the buckle for an old one I had, so now it is a nice belt.

Seems like a pretty decent product. Being able to customize the length is great. The belt was the size (width) I was looking for and is easy to hook and tighten to the proper length, it also holds the length you set it as (no slippage) as long as you have a bit of tension on it.It is a bit of a pain to release the buckle though, I find I have to tighten up the belt a bit, then slide the catch mechanism up to release the grip on the webbing. It works fine, but is a bit of a pain. Lost 1 star for that reason only. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

I'm a rather large person and I can't buy belts anywhere so I bought the XXXXlarge model and it was BIG! I actually had to cut at least 2 feet off of it but at least this one fits!!! The buckle has to be put in a certain way to work, read the instructions carefully because I had to do it a few times but now it's great. The slider is, however, a little hard to undo and I would recommend the other buckle available (that's why I took one star off). It does not stretch at all (I thought it did) but it does look and feels super sturdy. Don't expect it to wear off anytime soon.

The belt will definitely last a long time. The quality of the material makes it robust and will have a low chance of breaking. The mechanism is easy to use but sometimes gets stuck when worn for long periods of time.Shipping could have been faster especially when I paid higher than usual.

Will definitely be buying from this company again. My husband is allergic to metal, and had a belt very similar for many years that would always end up giving him bad allergic reactions. Ever since switching to his new hypoallergenic soldier military belt buckle, he has had no problems with allergies! After years of searching for a replacement belt, this is definitely the belt to beat.

This belt is great. I have bought 3 of them at this point and they are great work belts. I replace it about once a year because the belt tends to fray by then and doesn't hold as tight. But I am also a larger guy and do security work so I am sure I am harder on the belt then normal use. They make it really easy to cut the belt down if you order it too large.
