I bought two of these kits, unfortunately, one of them had a bag of cement that was already opened. And it became very messy very quickly. So much of the cement powder was lost I unfortunately didn’t have enough to make the stone. The other kit was great and easy to use.

I bought this for my daughter's (age 4 & 5) and we had a blast making this. We will definitely be buying more. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. It is super fun and easy. I am blown away at the finished product and overall quality. This makes a great gift.

I bought this stepping stone for my 4 year old. I was attracted to this particular item because it claimed to be for outdoor use and for the garden. What I really like: •lovely stones and colourful mosaic plastic pieces adds colour to the stone; •glitter adds a nice touch; •the end product is lovely! What I didn’t like so much: •the plaster didn’t set well - I had to keep removing water (despite following the instructions meticulously) by pouring out and dabbing. Eventually the plaster set and my son could use it; •the plaster crumbled on the edges and seems fragile; •the plaster does not appear to be suitable for outdoor use (or if it was used outdoors, it wouldn’t withstand the elements, in my opinion). Overall, I really like the stepping stone. The process of making it is lots of fun, the accessories are colourful and more than sufficient. It engaged my 4 year old and the end product is great. I had hoped to put this in the garden, but alas it wasn’t meant to be. It now sits proudly on display in house as a keepsake. I would definitely buy this again with the view to use it inside. Recommended!

My two and six year old spent an afternoon making two stepping stones for their grandma. For the price I don't know if it was worth it, but it did keep them occupied for quite a while (which is my goal). I should have been more diligent while mixing the cement, so make sure to follow the directions thoroughly. After drying, our stepping stones had some cracks. So just follow the directions like a reasonable adult should do, and you'll be just fine.
