Q: Is this lego size comparable/the same size as the lego friends sets?

Yes, the lego bricks are the same sizes. My kids have several of both types of sets. The only difference is that the Lego Friends minifigures are slightly larger, but not enough to make a big difference. My son and daughter play with their sets together all the time!!! Hope this helps! :)
