Perfect for Brewing Kombucha
My wife used it to successfully brew some Kombucha. She seems happy with the result and the product which certainly means Iโm happy. She also really liked it came with a cloth cover and an elastic band to secure the top.

The glass jar is nice and thick and exactly as pictured. My kombucha is coming along nicely so the jar is definately doing its job :)

Good design - sturdy and well suited for Kombucha
A very nice piece of glassware. I only gave it a couple of points off for "value for the money." I found something similar for $5 at Ross, or you can buy a gallon jar of pickles at Costco also for $5 and you get the pickles too! But if you don't want to go hunting for jars or like them all to look the same, then this item is for you. It comes with a nice round glass lid, but when you brew Kombucha you use a cloth top anyway so that's not an essential thing to have.
