Stainless Quality and Secure Protection on the Water!
I use this on the companion way of my 30 Foot Hunter Sailboat. High quality Stainless Steel and piece of mind for security on the water. While locks typically only keep honest people out...I haven't had any issues with this Hasp operating as it should. Highly recommend for the price point...this is a great value!

An incredibly stupid hasp design
There is a reason there is no picture of this hasp in the locked position in this item description. Because if there was then you would immediately see how stupid the design is. As you can see in the attached picture they didn't make the cam on the locking plate proud enough, so in the "locked" position the pin on the locking arm actually extends BELOW the locking plate by at least 1/8" which requires you to mortise a recess in whatever flat surface you mount the locking plate on!!??? How stupid is this???? The pictures in the display are totally deceptive. The hasp appears to lie flat on the surface, it does NOT.
