Fantastic carpet cleaner, going strong after 18 months
I've had this for 18 months and I use it every 3 or 4 weeks on my thick carpet and also on my hallway runner rugs. I love it. It is slow to use - for best results you need to take it slow - and you have to change the dirty water and add new water/solution pretty frequently while using it, but the results are absolutely worth the chore of the job. I have two dogs and we are a busy household of 4 and my carpets suffer. The blackened water that comes out of my carpet every time I use this machine tells me how effective it is. It is lightweight and easy to manoeuver but powerful enough for a really thick pile. If you go over the wet carpet several times it gets pretty dry, and most importantly sucks up all the dirty water that you don't want left in there. I only wish I could use it on my stairs but that's not the design. I did my research before buying this and haven't been disappointed. They sell carpet cleaning solution at supermarkets that work great with this machine.

Good Dinky Little Machine
My AromaPro finally packed up, and now I'm living in much smaller accommodation needed something compact. This is ideal for my two rooms, and it is light to lift. The photos are of when I tried it out on a 6x3 ft area. The foamy pic is the wash, and I decided to rinse with just water, amazed with the results, (that was just a test to get the feel of it hence the rinse water picking up dirt too). Having now cleaned the main room, roughly 11x11 ft required to refill once, only using half the second one. Usually I look at negative comments when deciding what to buy, and when I saw a picture of belt replacement in the instructions I was on my guard. I heard a thud, it didn't seem to be sucking...turned it on off a couple of times - same...THEN I realised it's because the soil tank was 'full' LOL- so TIP- take note of full sign. Picked up a lot of grit, but still spat some lint out like the AromaPro, as there's a small comb behind the brushes which also captures it. It's far easier to clean/fill. The package was factory wrapped ie: not a return, but I found the instructions a bit sparse - diagrams with no explanations or trouble shooting. Having been used to having rinse and tool options this is bare bones, it cleaned and lifted grit/hair; to rinse I used clean water (TIP-save any left over cleaning solution in an old bottle). It is noisy but I would think they all are, my last one was. So, at present, happy days...Edit: wanted to upload a picture of all the grit, but it picked most up previously!

Quality product that does the job
I have had this a year now and it has had plenty of use. It is easy to set up and has clear instructions. It is bulky but that can't be helped as it has a large capacity. The carpets smell once this has been used but its not unpleasant and clears up once they dry. My only issue is that this doesn't get right up to the edges so I also had to buy a spot cleaner to do the edges and the stairs. All in all, a quality product which is good value for money and saves on the cost of a professional clean.

This is a wee miracle.
I bought this in Black Friday deal. Was unsure at first as previously had another carpet cleaner brand that rhymes with tax which cost a fortune and was seriously rubbish. Anyway got this as it was in sale and as I only have rugs to clean seemed a good idea. When it arrived I unpacked immediately, its a lot lighter than I thought, easy to put together tbh, didn't have lots to put together it was most done. I then filled it with warm water and solution and turned it on and OMG, it was amazing. I'd hoovered my deep pile rug a few times before with Shark thinking it was clean, well it really wasnt. The dirt and hair and grit this thing picked up was nothing short of breathtaking. The rug wasnt even that old but I have cats and a toddler and tbh it didn't look dirty but it so obviously was. This machine is not heavy to manouvre around or complicated. Press button on handle to spread solution and let go to suck it up. You'll see straight away the dirt collecting in the bottom tank. Its not noisy either. Honestly you'll be amazed at what this machine can do to your rugs. As it is a rug cleaner it goes through the solution quickly as only enough for a big rug but easy enough to refill if need be. Anyway rug has never looked or smelled cleaner and surprisingly it was touch dry too and completely dry in a few hours. The other well known brand soaked my carpet, was heavy and suction less. I'd totally recommend this over any other brand. I also bought the spot cleaner for the stairs and thats just as good too. Used it twice so far as my daughter spilled coffee in my light grey deep pile rug. I left it a few days as other stuff going on but it still all lifted and cleaned the rug spotless. Im delighted with this and as an added bonus its easy to clean afterward too. Although gross what a hoover leaves behind bleugh!! A wee miracle machine.

Great lightweight carpet cleaner
This carpet cleaner is exactly as described. Pros: It’s on the small side but perfect for my needs as I have arthritis in my hands so found my previous giant cleaner heavy and unwieldy. It’s easy to fill, empty and move around. As others have said, you have to refill and empty the tanks often - I did a dirty living area carpet with about 6 tank fulls. It seems sturdy and well made. My carpet came up beautifully and was hardly damp. Cons: the instructions are minimal diagrams but I found a great assembly and use video on YouTube. It’s very noisy so I wore earplugs. It’s thirsty on the cleaning fluid so don’t rely on the little bottle you get in the box, order extra when you buy it.

carpet cleaner
Old one broke after many years of use. What a difference using this one, technology has obviously moved on a lot since I first bought one. Its a dream to use, easy to carry around and really cleans the carpet where you can see the difference. No problems and great to use

Better than Vax
SO much better than my last 2 Vax brand. Much easier to clean, great carpet washer, so easy to set up. Definitely sticking with this brand from now on.

Gets the job done
We moved into a rental with carpets that were...rough. Think years of neglect, greasy stains, and a general unpleasant smell. I grabbed the BISSELL PowerClean, hoping for the best. It's a compact machine, which was a plus for moving it around. The two-tank system is simple enough – clean water in one, dirty water out the other. It's not rocket science. The cleaning power is decent. It pulled out a surprising amount of gunk, and you can see the difference in the photos. The water it extracted was pretty gross, which was oddly satisfying. It took a few passes to really get the carpets clean, especially in the high-traffic areas. It's not perfect. It's a bit noisy, and you have to go over the same spot multiple times for stubborn stains. But for the price and the condition of the carpets I was dealing with, it did a solid job. The house smells better, and the carpets look significantly cleaner. If you're dealing with seriously dirty carpets and want something that's easy to use without breaking the bank, it's worth considering.

Look no further! This is a fantastic machine.
Just for a bit of context - We had Bissell's top of the line Carpet Cleaner for about 6 years. It was a fantastic machine and always recommended that to others - we used that machine a lot!, no wonder the poor thing died. ;-) When I started to look at a replacement I was wanting to replace it with the same machine or their newer model. But quite honestly… financially it wasn’t the best timing for us to spend $700+ After some research I was more than happy to try this basic model. I’m so happy I did. I find it cleans just as well as their most expensive model. A couple of negatives. Which negative isn’t really the right term… it’s a smaller model. So more emptying and refilling. But that also has a positive too… as it’s way lighter. And as it’s an overseas model (still free delivery of course) it has a UK plug. A cheap/simple solution is an adapter which worked well. But I have just purchased a 1m power cord with an Australian plug and UK socket. So that’s great! Which adds a little extra length in the power cord. Eventually… after the warranty runs out I’ll likely change the plug to suit. Basically… give this little guy a go! You won’t be disappointed. Its simple design also has the ability for the most simple cleaning possible. Whereas the top of the line one was incredibly hard to clean. Sooo man parts to remove, clean and remember how they snapped back into place. Also… if you ever have issues with any carpets with persistent brownish patches. Google “carpet browning” but… don’t be buying any expensive solution though. Just use vinegar and water. The vinegar smell lasts only minutes. And the stains caused by wicking or PH levels will disappear. One other tip - that I still have to remind myself all the time is - less is more! Don’t overdo the carpet solution. It’s bristles do most of the work. Too much cleaning solution causes it’s own problems. And… most of the time I don’t use carpet shampoo, a dash of laundry detergent is absolutely brilliant. And a dash of fabric softener helps reduce any suds in the tank. Remember just a DASH :-) I hope this helps you in your decision!

This little machine is a ball tearer!
I've had a Bissell shampooer for at least 10 yrs. It finally crapped the bed! Did soo much work across many prperties. I was hesitant with this purchase due to small price. Paid a lot many years ago. Felt a bit tinny when assembling but wow wee when i booted it up....what a g8 job it did!! I have dogs and vac every couple of days with a power head. This cleaner picked up and spat out everything the vac missed! So very rewarding! It sucks a lot of water from the fibre and shifts a gear to tell you the dirty water reservoir is full. I only used half the cleaning product into my clean bcos the suds if full strength will stop the show once dirty tank reaches full. Still cleaned amazing! Clean up is real easy, not like my old model, everything is easily rinsed out and clips off! For rugs, a room at a time....perfect clean! Very rewarding purchase.

Keeping my place clean
I used this to clean my small apartment and it does the job perfectly. This is light and easy to carry, making it easy to run for hours. It came from overseas and it had UK plug so had to purchase an adaptor on my own. It would be nice if Amazon could recognise this and send one automatically. The item is small so it fills us pretty quickly, so need to be patient and empty the dirty water bin multiple times. This is very good for cleaning small areas such as carpets or one bedroom at once however cleaning a big area may be not great, or have to empty the dirty water bin every use ~5 min.
