Missy J's organic Unsweetened Carob Chips 8 Oz, Vegan, Gluten and Caffeine Free, Healthy Substitute for Chocolate, Perfect for Snacks and Treats

These are a lovely alternative to chocolate/cocoa. I love the thin slices vs the large chips of typical chocolate chips.Very tasty. Sweet, even though there’s no added sugars. It doesn’t taste exactly like chocolate, so don’t expect that. It’s almost like the Flavor of white chocolate. I’m grateful for an alternative to chocolate as the cravings are strong, but it just makes me ill. Carob doesn’t have those effects!

My husband and I simply love these carob chips! They are delicious and they melt fantastically! I've made carob almond bars and carob "almond joy" bars. Also, we like to add them to our mixed nuts, frozen treats and more!

They taste great, but the listing says unsweetened - these are sweetened. Sugar is on the ingredient list. I just re-ordered - hoping for unsweetened this time. Otherwise I wouldn't buy them anymore.

These chips are good in themselves. Despite the marketplace sender’s apparent efforts (reflective packaging, cold pack insert), the chips arrived as one solid unappetizing and practically useless chunk (see photos). I’m sorry they can’t be replaced—wasted money and time. Regardless, the sender needs to see this and take measures, and buyers beware.

So terrific, so yum.Delicious in their own right--- no need to pretend a chocolate substitute. Even tho that is the case for me: can no longer do chocolate--- and delighted to have these and other treats from this partic company---- very very very yum!!

I bought these and they came in a block, more than likely they melted. Well, after seeing the reviews of others who had their carob come in a block rather than morsels, they mention they used the product despite the shape. So, I tried the carob and I was blown away how delicious they are. I haven't eaten anything chocolate or related to it in over 30 years. It's the best I've ever tasted and so close to the taste of chocolate I experienced eating as a child. I could only give them a four star because it did come in a different shape other than what it's supposed to be. Nevertheless, it deserves a 5 star as far as the taste is concerned. It's absolutely out of this world!

These are delicious! I have major food allergies and needed something chocolatie. They are unsweetened but still have a mild, sweet flavor. I sprinkle them on my everything-free desserts and it really gives them a flare!

These are SOOOOO YUMMY! I've tried the Missy J's mint carob, unsweetened, sweetened, carob powder, mint carob bars (SOOO GOOD!), and brownie mix. It's all delicious! I just made a big order so it would last over the summer so I wouldn't have to risk it melting. It's packaged well, but I live in a place that gets over 110F in summer. I tried another brand of carob chips from a local grocery store, and they were disgusting. I'm happy to pay more for a quality product that actually tastes like chocolate. I also feel good supporting a small business. I usually order direct from their website because there are more options and they sometimes give discount codes. I can't eat chocolate because of the caffeine. With Missy J's, I don't miss it. I've made carob chip cookies (everyone thought it was chocolate), and I made a mug brownie with the carob powder last night. So decadent! I never thought I would get to enjoy that chocolate taste again. Thank you Missy J's!!
