I had to take my extra long wedding gown on a 5 hr flight. I gave in and bought this expensive case and it was worth it. The gown travelled beautifully. I asked the stewardesses to hang it in a little vertical wardrobe (that I didn't know they have in aircrafts but apparently they do for storing their own jackets) and they were very accommodating. I liked the rod that keeps everything in place and the lock at the top.

This bag is the real deal. I purchased this for a destination wedding to fit my large ballgown wedding dress in. We did end up cutting out a good bit of crinoline under the gown to make it less poofy, but this bag fits it no problem. The side straps really snatch it in and make it fit within carry-on size if you really squeeze it in. Heavy duty and definitely protects the dress inside. Lots of pockets too!

I was a bit hesitant to buy this due to the price but so glad I did in the end. I had to carry my dress on long haul international flight and it protected my dress so well. I kept my dress folded the whole journey. Minimal creasing. Also the extra storage compartments were brilliant. I was able to pack my shoes and page boy outfits in with my dress. Highly recommend.
