I bought this for my old floor jack. But when my Kubota loader cylinder front seal started to leak, I put this in to see if it worked. After running it for a while, the leak stopped. Let's see how long it will work for while I wait for the rebuilt kit to arrive.

I have a 1986 Amman twin drum roller. When I bought it There was various hydraulic electrical and mechanical issues. Anyway I worked my way though them as a project over a 6 month period, everything fixed working perfect so just give it a coat of paint and ready to put it to work. The last job was to fit new clamps to the engine cover so I purchased some here on amazon they arrived I went in the work shop to fit them to see a puddle of hydraulic fluid under the machine. "Gutted" anyway after a quick look it was apparent it was coming from the steering unit the fluid was travelling up the column then running down the outside and eventually to the floor. It was a constant flow and to get to this part isn't easy. The machine is old and I didn't really want to spend lots on it so after a little research I learnt there was various addictive product that may help. To be honest considering how much fluid was coming out I had my doubts but thought it was worth a go, as I'm unsure considering the age of the machine I'd be able to get a replacement part. In the bottle it says to add between 5 and 10% It has a 20L hydraulic tank so I initially put in a bottle which is approximately 5%. To my amazement it reduced the flow within about 10mins considerably. I left the machine running about 30mins whereby it was now a very small leak. The next morning I came out still a small leak so I decided to try some more so now I have approximately 7% addictive after another 30mins of running leak has gone. Obviously early days but all I can advise is this product appears to work. It also suggests it can be used as a preventative measure I have 3 other pieces of plant here varying in age so think I'll buy some more. Definitely worth a try befor a potentially expensive repair
