Are these food tweezers would be good for batter dipped deep frying?

Is this tweezers has solid block in the back? Because some are only glued together by two halves

the tongs/tweezers have a solid weld about 1" long at the end

What is the width when tongs open?

Mine measure 1-3/4" at the open end. Just as important are the serated tips which are excellent for gripping any smooth or techtured surface, such as sliced dill pickles tightly packed in a jar or removing olives from a deep, narrow jar. I ordered these in early October, 2019 and am going to order more to give as gifts. These are my first large tongs and i keep finding uses for them each week. They make life a lot easier in the kitchen.

I love it

The item arrived on time, with two other things I'd ordered. I can't use regular chopsticks anymore because my hands spasm after a minute or two. Which meant I couldn't use them for cooking. When I saw these, I decided to get them. The paddles at the end shouldn't be a problem at all. I only wish there was something to keep them closed for storage. I'm using an elastic band. :-)
