Clairol Natural Instincts Demi-Permanent Hair Dye, 7 Dark Blonde Hair Color, Pack of 3

This is my favorite hair color. I use it to overdye my hair, to give color to my grays. Leaves my hair soft, shiny, and pretty for many weeks.

I purchased this product to even out my hair a bit and make the entire head more uniform in color (previously highlighted both professionally and by myself). The Dark Blonde (7) did a nice job of that. Definitely looked dark upon application but washed well and lighted up a bit over time and multiple washes of course, as it's demi-permanent. I don't have much experience with box dye, but I would always recommend going lighter than you think you want, as a lot of these colors come out darker than advertised. I like this product and the conditioner it comes with - haven't noticed any damage to my hair. The value is great for the (3) boxes if the color works out for you.

Works great. Great coverage and blending of gray without having to worry about “roots” afterwards. This simply just washes out after 21-28 shampoos. No unsightly roots or waiting for it to “grow out”. If you don’t like the color, no problem, three weeks and it’s gone. What is super great is the conditioner! It really works and smooths out the ends very nicely. I’m really pleased with the results and its durability. I swim and I don’t have to worry about “green” hair either and getting it wet is no problem.

While I like this brand, I was actually surprised that my final color did not look anything like dark blonde. Didn't see blonde in it. Actually came out as a medium to dark brown. I actually asked friends if they would call my haircolor dark blonde, and they laughed. The top of my hair was gray, so it's not that my natural hair color was too dark.
