Mechanical pencil (m510171p.26) in the photo, is that a plastic covering on the top? is the barrel steel?

It is plastic on top of metal sleeve that covers eraser. Parts of the barrel are plastic and parts are metal. The entire lower part seems to be metal, the upper part of the barrel where the pocket clip is plastic. It's a good pencil anyway. They probably all have plastic parts.
