I had prostate issues for several years. I wish I knew about this product when my problem started or anytime before my emergency surgery. Instead doctors were more than eager to prescribe drugs with horrible side effects and no relief. I didn't know of anyone with similar problems to confide in, or maybe nobody wanted to say anything about it. I just figured I'd have to deal with it. Well I'm saying it for you now. You don't want to go through my ordeal. How about having to pee often and extremely urgently, incomplete emptying of the bladder which caused several infections and eventually the closing of my urinary tract. Emergency surgery because I could not urinate which cost me $2000 even though I have good insurance. How about having a catheter inserted into your penis for two weeks. Waking up in agony each time us men have one of our five or six erections we have each night. How about urine bags that leak or sleeping in a chair because you can't lie down. How about giving yourself a catheter once a week to make sure your tract stays open. And did I mention that sex was lousy during the whole time I had my prostate issues? I highly recommend this product which I will take for the rest of my life. It's very effective and very affordable too. If you see any difference when you urinate or feel any pressure in the rectal area, there's your warning. If you have any symptoms, do something about it. It might not be such a bad idea either to add this product to your daily diet when you reach the age of forty. I didn't know, now you do.I feel great now and peeing has never been so enjoyable lol. I have pcos so not only is my hair thinning but it's shedding and falling out. I also suffer from acne and unwanted hair growth (hirsutism). I have tried it all. Waxing, plucking, no no which I hated because it was expensive and on top of that you have to replace the buffer and the top piece which "gets rid of hair"....right. any who I have also tried birth control but ended up gaining weight. no matter what I did the unwanted hairs would keep growing fast within days and the hair on my head kept shedding. So this was my last chance and so far it's perfect. Here's a pill I only need to take once a day for a GREAT PRICE and it would last me two to three months and the plus with this one is that I haven't gained weight. Not one pound and this is it for me. I'm sticking to this right here. I made sure to do my homework on the company and reviews and the product itself and it all checks out. Love this miracle pill in a bottle. Oh also for those who don't bother to do the homework know this. Saw palmetto no matter the name brand should always be taken with food to avoid cramps and any thing that has to do with the tummy. Also no matter the brand you have to give it time to work. Saw palmetto take six weeks to work just make sure you're on top of that don't ever expect it to work in days or a few weeks.

UPDATED 2017: The improvement I noticed from this product has leveled out and slightly reverted over the past year since I left the original review (below), Although I think this brand is more effective than the others I tried, I do find myself getting up at least once a night now. As far as I know the product is just as good as ever but maybe my response to it has changed. In any case, I changed the grade to 4 stars. I will save the fifth star for a product that has a greater positive effect. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been taking Jarrow for 2 years, and Advanced Nutrition Labs before that, and I can say after a month on Zhou that this is much more effective. Even using the other brands regularly, I still often had to get up during the night. Since taking Zhou, after about the first few days, I found I only have to get up one or two nights a week, at most. This has been a MAJOR lifestyle improvement.

I was skeptical about trying the Zhou Nutrition Saw Palmetto capsules, but I was tired from getting up from three to five times a night for a nocturnal bathroom visit. When the capsules came I was happy to see that they suggested one capsule per day, which meant the bottle of capsules would last better than 3 months. For the price, that was a no-brainer. Still, if they didn't help, it would still be $$ down the drain. I started taking the Zhoe Nutrition Saw Palmetto capsules and from the first night was pleasantly surprised to only awaken twice for a 'bathroom visit'. It was too early to tell, and we had visitors staying with us, so I was 'out of whack' and decided to hold my judgement until the visit was over. Our friends stayed two weeks ( they were from Europe) so now it is a week after they've gone and I've been taking the capsules for 3 weeks. I am very happy to say that although I still get up at night to urinate, my bathroom visits are never more than twice. That is substantial compared to my year of 3 to 5 visits per night! I am feeling more rested in the morning and have already ordered several more bottles of this great supplement. I was offered a free bottle of Saw Palmetto capsules for doing this review ( I bought the first at retail) but my wife already ordered and paid for a second bottle, so the free one will be my third! So you can see that I ordered the product twice even without the incentive, and I'm glad I did.

I started using Zhou Saw Palmetto on 6/1/16 to combat my waking every 2 hours like clockwork to urinate. Basically 3 times a night before arising. I am 62 yrs old and despite using NC Prostate 5LX (which I currently am still using since I have a couple of bottles) I didn’t seem to be getting a definitive improvement. Hence, my purchase of Zhou Saw Palmetto. Completely fed up with my situation and not wanting to go the prescription drug route, I decided to give it a try. Long story short, after about 2 weeks I noticed that the duration between urinations became longer. Now it is in the ballpark of 3 1/2 hours. That to me is big difference. So much so that I had the inkling to write a review to share my experience. Recently prompting me to take immediate action, Zhou offered me a free bottle to write a review. Since I was going to anyway at some point I thought this a good time and take advantage of their offer. I will continue to monitor and update here with any marked changes from my current pattern of nightly urination. UPDATE 5/27/18: It is nearly 2 years later and I am not as enthusiastic about this product as I once was. Since this last winter or fall I began waking up again every 2 to 2 1/2 hours each night. I will have to start searching around for an alternative to give one a try. I have changed my Star Rating to 3 Stars.
