I have a Great Dane and has had horrible anal gland problems. Always had to go to veterarian to get expressed. The vet told me to try this. Well he loves the taste of it and after about a week of daily medication, problem starts to go away. So far his glands aren't completely clear, but he isn't licking all the time or leaking on the furniture. Try it.

This is a fantastic product for your dog! Early on, when my now 9-year old Dalmatian was a puppy, he started exhibiting signs of anal gland problems. Having had a previous dog with that issue, I didn't want this one to go through the same thing as far as having to go to the vet to have the glands expressed. So gross! A friend who is involved in rescue recommended the Glandex powder to me and I gave it a try. What a wonderful recommendation she gave me and this product has been a godsend! My dog hasn't had to have his anal glands expressed at all in the 9 years he's been here. He's healthy and happy! I continue to use this for him and have no plans to discontinue it. I mix it in with his food and it makes a nice "gravy" that he looks forward to eating! He prefers his evening meal as that's the one I mix the powder in. It doesn't leave any weird side effects either.

Nothings perfect thats why the 4 stars but so far so good. I’ve been struggling to get my greater swiss mountain dog in better standing since i brought him home from a breeder and found out he had giardia. He’s now 2 years old and i THINK i’ve finally found a combo that includes this that works for him and his stomach the best. I’ve recently tried bernies poop and wasnt satisfied so i decided to try this. I’ve noticed a huge difference in poop quality since he’s been on this and its only been a week. He eats everything but the first day he tried to eat around the kibble that had the powder on it. Im not sure what that was about because it smells good in my opinion. after about 2 or 3 days feeding it to him he eats all he kibble with no problem.

Helps digestion to make my dogs poop firmer. She doesn’t scoot but will lick that area if she has leaks. The gland x wipes also take away the gland smells. Very good product and I use both occasionally when needed, I prefer using powder over bites.
